TAL: Active sourcing solution for companies
In times of a shortage of skilled workers, it is becoming increasingly difficult for companies to find suitable employees with conventional job advertisements in job portals or print media. Together with the company PERIM Digital GmbH, WOGRA has taken up this challenge and developed a software that actively searches for suitable candidates for defined job offers. The Active Sourcing solution enables the search for employees across diverse sources and channels. At the same time, it makes an assessment of the fit of potential candidates using defined criteria. Subsequently, the candidates found in this way can be specifically recruited.
The software TAL (Talent Acquisition List) was solved as a single page application with Angular in the frontend and Java-Spring in the backend. An indexing mechanism determines a ranking of all candidates found. Through the targeted use of AI, work experience is extracted from resumes. Four WOGRAners worked on the project over a six-month period.
